Passenger Travel ended in 1969. Today the railroad is used by a slow moving, small freight train. Town has an ordinance that requires the train not to exceed 5 mph. It passes the house twice a day Mon-Fri, usually late morning and afternoon. There are some luxury and expensive townhouses (Eagles and Flyers players lied here), right next to the tracks. I would take that as evidence that it isn't all that intrusive. "We first noticed, but after a month or so we got used to it and stopped noticing" So take a walk, from Main Street, cut thru to E.2nd St and then walk down French's Ave. Cross over the tracks and turn right on the stone driveway.
